Pat Barrett is an active tramper and adventurer with an outdoor career spanning more than 35 years. He has lead expeditions in the Southern alps of up to three weeks duration and adventure tours to Nepal and South America.
Pat has competed in three Coast to Coast events as well as the Southern Traverse event. He concentrates his energies on tramping and photo-journalism and is a regular NZ Wilderness magazine and Christchurch Press. He also photographs for several calendar and postcard publishers and district tourism councils.
He now produces a Scripture calendar each year featuring NZ scenery and has written five books;
